    Stephen Papadopoulos, MD, MBA

    Stephen Papadopoulos, MD, MBA is the Emeritus Chief Medical Officer of the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix Arizona. Dr. Papadopoulos is a pioneer in the field of Spinal Surgery, Computer Assisted Surgical techniques, and Remote Education. He trained as a Resident at University of Michigan followed by a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery with Dr. Volker Sonntag at the Barrow Neurological Institute in 1989. Dr. Papadopoulos has held multiple positions in National Neurosurgery organizations including the Chairman of the AANS/CNS Joint Spine Section in 1998 and the President of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons in 2001.
