Dr. Mickey Ellis Abraham, MD, MS, MBA, is a neurosurgery resident at the University of California, San Diego, specializing in the surgical treatment of brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve disorders. He leads translational research in regenerative neurosurgery, spanning neuromodulation, neurorestoration after paralysis, and stem cell–based strategies for spinal cord injury, supported by funding from NIH CIRM. Dr. Abraham was trained at Rutgers Medical School, with an MS in Bioethics/Philosophy from Columbia University and undergraduate honors from Yeshiva Universitu.
