Graham Winston is a 6th year neurosurgery resident at NewYork-Presbyterian Cornell/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with a clinical and academic interest in advancing spine care for oncology patients. His work focuses on optimizing surgical strategies for metastatic and primary spinal tumors, improving construct durability in compromised bone, and integrating minimally invasive techniques to reduce morbidity in medically complex patients. He is particularly interested in bridging biomechanics, technology, and data-driven decision-making to improve outcomes and quality of life in patients with spinal instability and epidural disease.
Dr. Winston’s broader interests include surgical innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the thoughtful application of emerging technologies to complex spine pathology. He plans to pursue fellowship training in spine surgery and aims to contribute to both academic research and clinical program development focused on comprehensive spine oncology care.
