    Virginie Lafage, PhD

    Dr. Virginie Lafage, PhD, is the Assistant Vice President of Clinical Research for Orthopedics at Lenox Hill Hospital. With a background in mechanical engineering from France and a PhD in Biomechanics, she specializes in spinal alignment, adult spinal deformity, and cervical deformity. Her research career spans over 750 peer-reviewed publications and 1,200 podium presentations, driven by expertise in clinical trials, statistical analysis, and radiological evaluation. Co-founder of the FDA-authorized Surgimap platform, Dr. Lafage is also a dedicated mentor, having guided over 70 trainees in spine research worldwide, and a member of the International Spine Study Group (ISSG).
