    Serena S. Hu, MD

    Serena S. Hu, MD is Professor and Vice Chair, Department of Orthopedic Surgery and, by courtesy, Professor of the Department of Neurological Surgery, Stanford Hospital and Clinics. She has focused on the care of the spine deformity patient through her entire career, and has published extensively in this area. She completed her spine and scoliosis fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos, in Downey CA, and her residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC. She is past president of the Scoliosis Research Society as well as the American Orthopedic Association.
