Darius Ansari, MD is a current PGY-4 Neurosurgery resident at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Darius earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he remained for his medical training. Darius's research interests include predicting patient outcomes and the performance of novel surgical techniques in spine and nerve surgery. After residency training, Darius intends to pursue a career in spine surgery, with particular clinical interest in complex spine/spinal nerve pathologies and minimally-invasive approaches.
