USF Department of Neurosurgery, Brain, and Spine
Kiana Juliette Yeganeh, B.S., is a third-year medical student at PHSU School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and an A.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Kiana’s passion lies in neurosurgery, with particular interest in pediatric spine conditions like scoliosis and spina bifida. Her current research was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Neurosurgery, Brain, and Spine at the University of South Florida and contributes to a growing body of knowledge aimed at improving the operative management of brain and spine conditions in adults.
Fluent in four languages, Kiana has lived in Paris, Montreal, and Washington, D.C. She is a member of AANS, CNS, and AMA and is driven to pursue a career in pediatric neurosurgery.
