Gavin Touponse is a medical student and Berg Scholar at Stanford University. During his time at Stanford, Gavin has conducted spine outcomes research under the mentorship of Dr. Corinna Zygourakis and is passionate to understand the role of wearable activity monitors in patient care. Gavin has also worked in the labs of Dr. Neir Eshel and Dr. Rob Malenka where he studied the role of dopamine in motivation and mechanisms of opioid withdrawal.
