Nick De Oliveira is a third-year medical student at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Originally from Brazil, he grew up in Wisconsin before receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago. His research focuses on outcomes after operative cervical spine trauma, including respiratory complications and predictors of neurological recovery. Outside of research, he has organized educational initiatives for medical students interested in neurosurgery.
