Luke Mugge MD

Luke Mugge is a neurosurgery resident from the Inova Neurosurgery program. He is currently a PGY-7. He completed an Enfolded Complex Spine Fellowship under Dr. Jay Turner at Barrow Neurological Institute. After graduation, he will be completing a fellowship in complex spine under the mentorship of Dr. Lawrence G Lenke at Columbia. He has a strong interest in both adult and pediatric deformity and plans to have a combined practice after completing training.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mugge has a strong interetest in development of innovative devices used throughout the field of neurosurgery. He has experience and interests in biomechanics, device design and implementation, patents, and development. Given his interest in medical devices and deformity spine surgery, he is interested in further developing his connections and relationships throughout the industry.
