Mohsen Rostami is a spine surgeon with advanced training in complex spinal disorders and deformity surgery. He is currently completing a Spine Fellowship at the University of South Florida (USF) Department of Neurosurgery in Tampa, where he participates in a high-volume clinical practice encompassing minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic techniques, and complex cervical and thoracolumbar deformity reconstruction.
Dr. Rostami completed his neurosurgical training at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he later served as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery. His clinical and academic interests focus on adult spinal deformity, sagittal alignment, junctional pathology, and advanced osteotomy techniques, including three-column osteotomies and cervicothoracic reconstruction.
He has authored and co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications in international spine and neurosurgical journals, addressing topics such as spinal deformity correction, pedicle subtraction osteotomy, cervical sagittal alignment, and postoperative complications. His work has been widely cited, and he serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. Dr. Rostami has presented at national and international spine meetings, with multiple presentations receiving academic recognition.
