Clay is a third-year medical student at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and actively works in the Vanderbilt Spine Outcomes Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Scott Zuckerman and the Vanderbilt Sports Concussion Center under Dr. Zuckerman and Dr. Douglas Terry. He is interested in pursuing a career in neurosurgery and plans to apply in the upcoming match cycle. His academic interests center on sport-related concussion recovery, spine surgery outcomes, and the use of data science and machine learning to improve clinical decision-making and patient care.
